New Bakersfield US Courthouse Breaks Ground

The groundbreaking of the new US Courthouse in Bakersfield on July 12, 2010, was lauded by national, regional, and local dignitaries for providing much needed federal court services to the Bakersfield area, as well as local jobs. The new 33,500 SF courthouse, located at the city’s Central Park, is designed with numerous green / sustainable features with the goal to achieve LEED Gold. APSI is serving as the project construction manager for the $22 million design/build contract for the US General Services Administration, Region 9.
